Dual Tranche Multi-Currency Term Loan Facility

Yapı Kredi successfully signed a 1 year Dual Tranche Multi-Currency Term-Loan Facility amounting to USD 1,000 million on 10 September 2008 in Istanbul. This syndicated loan will replace Yapı Kredi’s USD800 million facility dated 17 September 2007 in order to finance pre-export contracts and exports of Yapı Kredi’s customers. Banks were invited to commit in either USD or EUR and the Facility closed more than USD200 million oversubscribed after raising more than USD1,000 million equivalent from a syndicate of 42 banks, which included Yapı Kredi’s core relationship banks and new participants. The all-in cost is LIBOR plus 0. 75% per annum. The success of the transaction is a testament to Yapı Kredi’s continued strong performance as well as its solid banking relationships.

WestLB acted as Coordinator, whilst The Bank of New York Mellon acted as Documentation and Facility Agent.
